Practically Celebrities

Hello to all!!! We made it here and are in one piece!!!! The trip here was 2 fold for us since Evan drove and I flew with the boys (and my parents). I'll give the account of me and the kids flying....what an adventure.
So, we were scheduled to leave on Sunday morning at 9:00 am on Skybus....many of you are already jaw dropped. Yes, my mother called me late Friday night and said "we have a snag.....skybus went bankrupt!" So needless to say, we had to book some new flights. We changed from Columbus to Indianapolis and flew to Burbank. We spent the night in Indy as, our flight was early in the AM. We got up at 4:00 am to head to the airport....kids in tow. They were troopers. They have their own little luggage and toted it right through the airport with no thoughts of anyone helping them. We were stopped at security as they asked Noah how old he was and he responded "FIVE!!!....as we have told him numerous times....he's only TWO! Got on the flight and we were off. I had a DVD player set and ready for the boys with earphones and everything....they would have gone to sleep. BUT, I charged the DVD player, checked to make sure it worked and then..........left it on, so it was dead!!!! FOUR HOURS WITH 2 WILD CHILDREN WHO WANTED TO USE THEIR CRAYONS AS DRUM STICKS!!! It was crazy. So we survied that flight to Vegas...yes, Vegas. We got there and found out that our flight was delayed 2 1/2 hours....we had to sit there with the kids......again....crazy! My dad was converted from a grandpa to a tree house as the kids climbed all over him.
So, we got in line to board the plane and I said to my mom "I think we cut in front of the guy behind us." She turned to ask him if we did and I heard a booming voice respond "Well, no that's OK, I think I'm going to go get a cup of coffee". My neck almosted snapped as I turned to see John O'Hurley or better known as Mr. Peterman, Elaine's boss from Seinfeld!!!!!! (or the host of the family feud) He walked away quickly and my mom turned to me and said "is he famous" of course I was like "YES!" So we boarded the plane and looked for him eagerly. We see him get on the plane and he's one row in front of us.....then we see someone come to talk to him...now in my mind, I'm thinking, leave the poor guy alone. I see the man approach him and Mr. Peterman is excited to see this guy and they shake hands and then the guy bolts to the back of the plane. I grab my mom and say "DO YOU KNOW WHO THAT WAS????? THAT WAS WAYNE BRADY!!!!!!!" So we are now aboard a flight with Mr Peterman and Wayne Brady....what a time. I figured they wanted to remain anonymous as Wayne Brady was practically sitting under his seat. So, I thought I'll wait until they leave the plane and just casually say "hi" as they pass. Well the plane deboared in the rear and the front and Wayne Brady bolted off the back. As I was gathering the kids and their belongings I looked up and made eye contact with a lady. I smiled and said "hi" as I realized it was Alissa Milano! Yes, the girl who grew up on Who's the Boss and has gone on to do some other horrible shows.....:)
So, my mom and I are practically celebrities....John O'Hurley touched her shoulder.... I'll send you guys my autograph and I'm sure my mom will be willing to sign something for you but you'll have to ask her yourself!
