Too Long

Wow, it's been way too long since I've written any blogs. We've even been to Harrison and back. I do have to say it was SO much fun seeing everyone and hanging out with everyone. Rachel and Nate's wedding was beautiful. Dils was the most georgeous bride, and may I mention that the mother of the bride was BEAUTIFULLY STUNNING!!!!!!!
That said, we have been running crazy since we got back. Evan started his new job the day after we got back. That was a blessing. He loves his job. He is working for a local flower wholesale company and is in charge of the warehouse. We know that he is where he's supposed to be. God is just blessing him and he loves the people he works with.
We also have started the outreach at the skate park. It's been going awesome. Every Thursday night we go to the local skate park with pizza and drinks and all the love God can give us. We give it all out. Usually the pizza and drinks are gone in moments, but the love of God is given all night. The teens are starting to open up to us and let us in their realm. They are amazing skaters. I will post pictures as soon as I remember to take my camera with me when we go! Some of them are sponsored by local skate shops.
Having Manna and Sarah here has also been a huge blessing. Just to have friends that are a tangible presence is amazing. I think Sarah and I just could possibly get ourselves in trouble......
Krista Santen and Megan Murphy were just here as well. We had a blast. All the girls went to Beverly Hills, Hollywood and of course to get cupcakes from Antie Em's. We looked hard but never saw any stars. Krista was disappointed until Wednesday came around. We went to Huntington Beach for the US Open Pro Surf competition. We got to see Bethany Hamilton, the young surfer who was attacked by a Tiger Shark in Hawaii and had her arm bitten off. Megan and Krista were able to get their picture taken with her and then Krista's peace abounded! OH, and very importantly, we ate at In N Out Burger. It was my first time. The people in the place just looked at us as we whirled in the place loudly like out of towners. One lady even asked if it was the first time we'd ever been in there and our response was "No, we live here!" OH the stares we got!
So, we've been busy. The boys are doing awesome. They are so cute. We did shave their heads. Their hair was just too dirty all the time. They were getting sand in their hair and I wouldn't be able to get it out for days. It was sick. I think Eli had a hard time dealing with it for a few days but now he loves it. We are working towards a fauxhawk.
We love everyone and plan on coming home at christmas time. Mark your calendars.
