California's Finest....

OK, so it's been a while.....but let me say this...California is beautiful and it almost seems like no matter what you are doing you are having fun....ALMOST!

The kids are loving it here. We are able to get out every day and ride bikes and skateboard and do the outdoor thing. Elijah even wants to eat lunch outside every day. It's been great. The kids are becoming best friends. They play together great. They are also getting really good at skateboarding and riding bikes and I love watching! Actually sometimes I ride down the hills with them. Elijah and I got really out of control one time and flew off! Elijah thought that was the greatest thing ever! Noah loves riding down with me on our "bootys", and if we aren't going fast enough....well he tells me about it!

So California has some different ways to get you through the process of getting your license and plates for your vehicles. Our process was over many days, with trips to have our cars "smogged" (another way of saying e check, but MUCH more expensive), to the Social Security office, to have Evan's truck weighed and with a total of 5 trips to the Department of Motor Vehicles at an average of 2.5 hours per trip............WE DID IT!

Getting Settled

We are finally settled. We have the apartment all put together and I really love it! It's small but it's definitely home.
The weather is beautiful. We've been swimming twice and have been to the park or the apartments playground every day. It did get into the 90's the other day but every other day has been upper 70's to the mid 80's and just beautiful. For those of you who know me really well, I'M NOT COLD HERE!!!!! YEAH!
The boys are adjusting. We went to a church called the Rock on Sunday evening. Their kids zone is called "Kids Rock" (imagine that) and both of the kids went into their classes without crying. They had fun and told us all about it. They love the park and the pool. Here's a video of Elijah at the park shredding on his scooter. He's so cool.
